This is how my wife and I do “Damper”. It is basically a Bannock recipe but we cook it with no utensils by laying it right in the ashes of the fire.
1 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt.
2 tablespoons milk powder.
enough Water to form a stiff dough
Form patties about 3/4 inch thick and cook for about 5 minutes
