I’m not sure exactly how much of each thing I put into the rub, or what all was in there, but this is the basic idea
Finely ground coffee
salt (about two pinches per steak)
chili powder/ or any pepper powder (about two pinches per steak)
pepper (about one pinch per steak)
The key to the rub is getting the right combo of brown sugar and coffee. If you don’t love coffee I suggest using it sparingly. The brown sugar will slightly caramelize on the outside of the steak so don’t force more on the steak than just rubbing it on the outside.
